Good food, small but friendly bar, and friendly service.

Decent. I'm assuming the manager wasn't in any mood to make accommodations. She sat at the bar as if she were queen bee. Sad way to represent such a slow business. The only hot food was the fried taquitos. Rice was not for me. Beans taste like canned. Again, food not hot. Looks delicious huh!

Service was great. But what I ordered was horrible. Chilled Verde Sauce was like water and the pork taste like it was from a can.Also very over priced for Lunch.I will never go back.

Delicious! 😋El Charro is my go to Mexican restaurant. When I'm in the mood for good authentic Mexican food this is where I go. The staff is friendly and courteous. It's very clean. I always recommend El Charro to all my friends.

Great shrimp cocktail, cheese enchiladas, and chili rellenos... everything I tried so far has been delicious!

Would give no stars if I could. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND SERVICE. Have ordered multiple times and most times we never get the drinks that come with the combos we order. Tonight was the last straw. The delivery person was rude and shouted obscenities down our apartment hallway. We didn't receive our drinks AGAIN. I ordered tacos with NO SAUCE because I have SEVERE reactions to spicy food. The tacos came smothered in sauce that made them inedible for me. NEVER ORDERING AGAIN. They screwed up my order and only refunded part of the order when we complained. They have lost a repeat customer. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

I enjoy coming here when I want that authentic Mexican food I crave & love so much. It is on the pricier side for the amount of food they give you but their food has always been delicious. The waitresses are friendly & attentive. Every time I've been here, I've been immediately greeted & sat down at a table to eat. Honestly, no frills here just a casual dining experience with consistently good food!!

This place can be very loud. Sometimes it's hard to talk with each other. The food is good.

Very good Mexican food and the prices are reasonable however the building lacks romantic charm

Fabulous little gem tucked into Cherry Valley. We have recently moved from the San Bernardino area and this has quickly become our go-to for quality Mexican food. I've been there 3 times in 2 months, and not once have I been disappointed in the food or the service.

The service is great here. The food is good too. It's a bit heavy but delicious

When your in Beaumont and wanting Mexican food, this is the place. Been going there for years. Great food, quality and taste and awesome service.

El Charro offers some solid Mexican food offerings. They are expanding into the craft beer market and offer great weekly specials. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. Mariachis on Thurs!!!

Authentic Mexican food!??? Not really. I expected better... almost felt like I was back in Wisconsin eating at a few of the failed wanna be Mexican cuisine restaurants we had in town. Ive had better meals at Qudobas. Waitresses friendly.

Great family owned restaurant. A hole in the wall really. There is lots of seating. Nothing fancy and everything delicious. We had fish tacos (grilled) , chili rellenos, chicken enchiladas incredible rice, beans, tasty salsa and chips. The service was excellent. The prices are great also!

Been here many times and I tell you, the beer on tap NEVER dissapoints! They always have a great selection of craft beers, and I mean the real independent craft beers, not the big guy craft beers.And, every Thursday they have mariachis that play just about any song you throw at 'em.The food and service is hit or miss though. But, when it's good, it's good.

Place is really good and variety

First time here and had a bad experience. We got sat down and like 5 min later another couple sat beside us they got greeted and got their drink orders and food orders before us. The food was very dry! We got an avocado dip which was brown and our limes had no juice they were very dry as well. I would give this place zero stars but it won’t let me. Will not be going back again.

Excellent eating experience.. from walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken. Meal was served hot and excellent taste. Server was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will be coming here again

So Disappointed with El Charro. Today Father's Day they tried to put people out in their hot parking lot! Can't wash hand in BR. This is how they treat loyal customer. Taking my money and loyalty elsewhere. Other restaurants open today!

Actually witnessed an employee not wash his hands before leaving the restroom. They forgot an item on a to go order.

It was my first time there and it was awesome. Everyone in our party loved what they had. The service was very good too! We will be back!

Delicious! And Amazing service! To go A hidden gem in my opinion, from a very particular foodie.

Order taking on the phone was poor ... ordered 4 tacos , burrito , and horchata drink....my son walks in and they hand him a bill for $38... , my son comes back home (he walked) and tells me the amount and shows me a receipt of the things that i was going to purchase.... they were charging him with a total of 7 tacos , burrito , and horchata....so there was a mistake , no big deal , i call el charro and spoke to esmeralda and told her what my order was suppose to be , she interupts me and tells me "what " "do you want it for free!!!!.....at this point i was upset... and i told her at what point did i give you a clue that i wanted it for free...i was trying to get my order straighten out ....so she just left the phone and handed it to stephanie ( maybe manager) and she corrected the order in a matter of a minute .......well the day goes on ....i hope esmeralda realizes what she said was not polite ....

Good food and a lot of it. Took a while to bring syrup after bring our waffles and pancakes. Had to ask twice but then were nice.

Oh when I'm not in the local area I miss this place. LOVE the street tacos and street corn on tuesdays. I'm between Texas, New Mexico and California several times a year. Each have different styles of Mexican cuisine. Of all food in each state this is my favorite place! Salsa is fantastic... this place is always busy and I know why food is amazing. Worth stopping here if you want good authentic well priced Mexican food.

Watching employees leave the bathroom after hearing the toilet paper roll spin and they didn't even wash their hands before they went back behind the counter and started handling everyone's food. I won't be venturing back here for that reason alone. didn't even bother with the meal, wrote it off as a loss.

Its always a joy to eat there. Makes me feel at home. Food is fabulous. Great service too, my sister from Pasadena enjoyed themselves as well. We go again.
